Sales Under Pressure

Selling under extreme pressure is hard. When Erika Shumate, co-founder of the luxury fragrance brand Pinrose, appeared on QVC she was under extreme pressure. She had to make as many sales and create as much brand exposure as possible in less than ten minutes. Erika was so successful during her first appearance on QVC that she’s now been invited back multiple times.

Erika will share the techniques for selling under pressure that she developed with input from the experts at QVC. She’ll help you practice these methods and also explain how they improved the Pinrose sales and marketing process outside of the intense pressure of QVC. This class will give you tools for making sales and offer a fascinating look into the wild world televised home shopping.

This class is an operator-taught elective. The class is open to the public. It will be co-taught by Erika Shumate, who we consider to be one of the best managers in the world. Erika is the co-founder of Pinrose and a scent and smell expert. She has been studying the psychology of scent since high school and came up with the idea of Pinrose after helping countless friends shop for fragrance.
